After Peyton, the Haslems are the most notable figures that graduated from UT and are the most important people at UT outside the students/teachers themselves. It would be a huge blow to the psyche of the university if something they were involved with was bad, especially since Bill is now governor.

Now like I said, it's all speculation. But when you got the FBI, the IRS, and the US Treasury department there......yikes that doesn't look good.

UT will be fine. I never even heard of the Haslams when I was a student. Worst case scenario is probably that this ruins the Haslams and the UTAD loses its biggest boosters.
