The idea of a "lead off hitter" is what I'm criticizing. He bats first one time.

No, not every position. At the first spot in the order. I can sacrifice Obp for slugging in the middle, we are top notch there.

That's a pretty good point. But where is Freeman going to hit? It's not a bad problem to have at all but there are a lot of middle of the order hitters on this club.

As a pitcher your more likely to go right at a guy with fastballs when you have a hitter on deck like Justin Upton.
