There's no point bidding on eBay unless you're poised to do some sniping yourself, even if you're the high bidder going into the last few minutes. It sucks but that's how it works.

That used to be my experience but the last few things I've sold on ebay got the final bid with a day or more remaining and never saw any more bidding. If I have stuff to sell now I usually just put it on Craigslist because the fees from ebay/Paypal are pretty steep.

Yeah, that's true. I was at my limit anyways, so it's no biggie. Got to draw the line somewhere.

That's the rational way to do it. Bid what you're willing to, then don't look at it again until it's over. Sitting there at the death waiting to fight off snipers will win you more auctions, but you'll also probably pay considerably more than you wanted to.

I mostly stay away from eBay auctions these days. I don't trust myself.

It's great for buying car parts, which is just about all I use it for.

Lol.. you need a new hobby youngblood

LOL. I have an online ebay store. Not a hobby, my second job. Started as a way to clean out my closet and garage. Went well, so decided to keep it going.

What in Gods name are you selling that you have 50-70 of (dare I ask)?

Sports memorabilia, new and used clothing, hiking gear, hunting gear, sunglasses et al. Also buy electronic wholesale items to resell.
