Yep. You either call the timeout prior to inbounding the ball, or you just go with it. Walk-on, albeit a coach's kid, inbouded the ball to a freshman.

Williams was signaling for the timeout. No idea why.

I'm guessing he wanted an attempt at maybe a lob to the rim for McAdoo or Tokoto, maybe a double screen for Paige or McDonald (depending on what time was left)....I don't know. I do believe he didn't want the game ending with the ball in Britt's hands or on Britt with a last ditch half-court heave.

I do believe he was signaling for the timeout well before anyone on the team actually saw him.
