It was cool to see the band in the different sections. They were right behind us in ZZ 11.

I'm not against the "Third Down for What" thing but I didn't hear Rocky Top as much during the game. I hope they aren't doing away with that.

I can't imagine how loud it would be if we are some how 3-0 going into the Florida game....

They typically have not played Rocky Top at the beginning of the opponents' third downs so I don't think those two thing are related. Rocky top usually played after a big stop on 3rd or 4th down or a big play on offense or TD.

And if the "3rd Down for What" thing amps up our defense enough to hold the opponents to such a low 3rd down conversion % then they can play that stuff until the end of time.

Had a hard time attempting to explain "third down for what" to my uncle. Which is most probably because I don't really get the translation my dang self... But it sounded great on the sound system and eventually he was jamming along with the crowd, which looked GREAT on television by the way.

I had a guy, not old, sittin behind me to ask me if I could sit down on THE FIRST DEFENSIVE play of the year. I simply turned to him and said "no" and kept cheering. Lol

This. At first I thought it was just the SEC Network trying their hardest to not play Rocky Top at any time. The blues theme was/is better suited for Memphis State.

Shout out to the student section they were there from beginning to the very end!!!! Looked like student sections from the glory days.
