Yall are right we should have never given whitey a scholly.........Oh wait

He is what he is. Guantee you this, he was encouraged to take those shots.(Maybe not as quickly into the shot clock) But that's what he is out there for. He has a (greenish-yellow) light to shoot. Ill say this, if he makes one or two of the three- there is a " Mcbee needs more PT" thread this morning.
Haha - Unbelievable

Kid is 100% focused out there I can tell you that. His physical skills are not up to SEC par and he's young. Gotta love him, especially after hearing from coaches + players @ work ethic and the fact he chose to forego schollys to walk on here.

Nevertheless, my big problem is with the freakin' news media that is (as usual) looking to hype a paper-selling story and launch the underdog as fan favorite because .... wait for it .... he's white. Worked for Dane and they are hoping the same here. JMO.

because dane bradshaw was actually decent

Sure, Skylar's been struggling from behind the arc, but I feel like his passing and free throw shooting ability are often overlooked. It's rare that you'll see him make an errant pass and more often than not his passes set up a scoring opportunity for a teammate.
Skylar running around like a chicken with his head cut off while not hitting shots is his problem. Where is all the guys who make the "he's a walk on" excuse going to go when he gets put on scholarship next season. He is only a walk on in title because we did not have another one this season. His expectations are so high because guys half the guys on here were telling us he was going to be the next Chris Lofton. I blame Pearl more than anything. If a shooter is just not having a good night why leave him out there especially when the guy is as big of a liability as Skylar is.

I remember a play nt to many years ago, the year before Pearl, my buddies and I would call him Lame Bradshaw. And low and behold, he turned out to be a very respectable player. (never a great shooter), but a player that would out work and out hustle anyone on the court, night in and night out. He aws n top of every loose ball, watched more film, and was is Bball IQ was unparralled amost that roster. I look at Skylar to be the same type of player. Only major difference, is Dane was a good defender. But that only comes with minutes played.

I was calling him that all the way until his last game.

You mean call him a True-freshman Walk on?? Just clearing things up. =)

A True - freshman walk on that needs to be with the rest of the walk ons. The scout team. I can see him having to play while Cam is on suspension, but I can't see how he has earned his minutes before the Jan. 1st incident and because of his complete lack of offense lately, then those minutes needs to be given to Cam. Seriously, he shouldn't be on scholly at an SEC school so save it next year and he should be on the scout team until his play is good enough to be in the rotation.

Wanted to bring one of these back to the top.

McBee had a solid game today. Couple of threes and a nice dish to Chism for a nice assist.

11 minutes is right about the range he should be playing. He's been asked to overextend what his role needs to be on the team. He played his role perfectly today. If we can get that more consistently from here on, it will help this team a lot.

Good game today for McBee. He is a smart player and hustles more than Hopson and Woolridge combined.

I love McBee. Everything a college athlete supposed to be. Rest of you all need to cut him some slack on here. He already has made a memorable shot.

I love that music from 2:04 all the way till the end of the video. I don't mean to be off topic but who plays that music? McBee you're the man.
