I believe it was, but my memory isn't the best. Several people have mentioned it was odd. Barn would have to buy him out for around 3 mill, if what I heard in the conversation was right.

Reminds me of situations where someone at work will ask for a raise to make X and the company freaks out, then turns around and hires someone brand new for more than the existing person was asking for.

sheesh... Every kid in the state of alabama plays football in some capacity. He's literally going to be able to walk up into people's cookouts and pull the kids he likes from back yards. When I go down to see extended fam, there are seriously 6 ft something kids running up and down the asphalt in 100 degree heat hoping to play. Saban's in trouble.
