What's the story? It was my understanding that the SEC had ruled that teams could only sign 28 in any one year. Am I remembering incorrectly, or just do not know something,(like some signees can still count toward last year's class)...or whatever? :dunno:

I believe they had 5 to back count. I think that is what I heard Chuck Oliver (AU Grad) on ATL radio stated eralier today.

I thought the same thing about carrying over the numbers if you didn't sign 28 the year before. Maybe I didn't get the memo.

They have backcounts.

Rumor going around is Seastrunk is calling around and hasn't signed his LOI for Oregon, apparently has called Auburn.

I'm not sure what the back count limit is (if there is one) but it's certainly more than 2. I was thinking it was around 5.

I thought that it was an SEC thing....do you mean that the NCAA rule also changed?

The SEC came in first after the Ole Miss deal, and I believe the NCAA came in after that. I have been told Auburn has 5 counting back, also there are probably greyshirts in there to.

Now do remember there is 85 limit too, which might end up being a problem later. Auburn is clearly saying all those guys won't stick.

i apologize if this has been asked...

Ambles and Copeland we're the only outside hopefuls today that have turned us down? Do we have a shot at any others today?
