My apologies. I will try and remain much more calm the next time I am completely shocked by a stat. I wasn't expecting him to throw for that many yards in the entire game let alone the first half. But understandably ol Verne does get a little over excited. I do however promise you that I wasn't jumping out of my seat when I got the ESPN txt.:good!:

It just tickled me. I got this audio "image" of Verne Lundquist raising his voice to a gravelly level!

I agree, being on pace for 650 yards against the number 2 team in America is pretty wild.

I don't understand what Mark Barron was doing either. That was a terrible throw and he had it in his sights.

The only way that was a 1st is if the ball was in his helmet and his head was under his arm.
