Auburn at Kentucky

Kentucky now has to beat at least one of us or Texas to have any chance to make a bowl. Oof

I’ve liked the recent trend of them coming in with only a couple losses or so, with some hope for a decent season before we remind them who their daddy is.

I don’t like how this sets up. I expected next week to be a get right game, but this will be a Kentucky team that is coming in with nothing to lose. We may still beat them by 40, but even if we do, we won’t get much credit.

Our offense is disgustingly bad and the UT defense is elite. We will be lucky to get on the other side of the field. Vols are gonna roll

I live in Lexington. Today our neighborhood Facebook page someone was selling tickets for $200. I’m shocked anyone is paying to go anymore. What they will be like 1-5 SEC.
$200 for UK! What was it, a jumbo pack with 100 tickets?

All very true. I don't like playing teams who are coming off an embarrassing loss. It's always a 50/50 shot on whether they get blown out again or play the game of their lives.

Re:Stoops-getting blown out at home by a bad Auburn team is not a good look at all.

Dude is probably kicking himself for not taking the A&M gig. Speaking of that, was there ever a leak on exactly what happened there? Did Stoops get cold feet or did A&M sober up and realize who they were hiring?

These kinda comments sound great all week until about midway of the 2nd quarter you start to realize TN just isn’t that team.
I can't explain it ..... but there is something about Kentucky that brings out the best in Tennessee. Our best offensive game of the season is usually against them.

Believe Stoops will move on after the season
Think so too. Unless he pulls some miraculous wins against Tennessee and Texas, he’s going to walk or be fired. If the unthinkable happens, UK will throw a boatload at him just on those wins and he will continue to collect checks and perform like he always has.

The guy sounds fed up. Probably hopes they nose dive through the season and the nightmare will end. Heck, he’s been picking fights with the admin and Coach Cal (prior to his exit) for years.

I don't like it because they will get rid of Stoops and he's right where we want him. They might stumble onto a good coach one of these days.

Auburn actually looked decent last night. We need them to beat the Aggies and Scar this weekend. Give them 2 losses.
