Auburn Is A Disgrace

Yea it looks more like you guys are reading way too much into the physics of a 300 pound man. The helmet-to back gig doesnt really look directly like a helmet in the back to me. It looks like a guy playing his heart out for the team he loves in a highly contactive sport. Like the kid says, if you don't want your QB broken in half, stop the guy.

fairley is about as cheap as they come. and im not even a GA fan. dude would be 100,000 poorer in the NFL right now.

Wait, really? You watched the replay and came to the conclusion that it "doesn't really look directly like a helmet in the back"? Wow. What is it then?

He clearly knew what he was doing, had his head up and saw Murray get rid of the ball nearly (or over) a full second before he hit him. That was a cheap shot, and that is 100% inarguable.

Exactly right. Anybody that disagrees with that is blind.

Heh - that's funny. This document should also contain a clause saying Fairley can give you a helmet to the spine after you throw the ball and have your hands on your hips, walking away.

Fairley is either

A) Pure fecal matter

or

B) Coached wrong. Seeing Trooper Taylor dancing on the field with his cap on backwards high-fiving this thug makes me believe the latter is the case.

Taylor was also trying to get fairley off the field but that apparently goes unnoticed.

I sense the sarcasm, but i'm one of the few that liked him while he was here and still have no problem with him now.

His recruiting tactics could possibly get Auburn murdered in the near future. And he's a clown.

I'm not going to try to argue he's a terrible position coach, but he is a clown and a dirty recruiter.

Fair enough. I don't know what kind of recruiting tactics he uses so i wont argue that.

I can't remember what years exactly, but I'm pretty sure one year he coached running backs, and the next year he coached receivers. (may be other way around) When he switched, the position he took over got much better during the next season, while the position he left looked worse, so I'll say he did a good job as a position coach. He wanted the OC job though, which would have been crazy.

I don't know if that would have been a bad thing or not. Looking back i don't know if it could have been any worse than clawson. I know nobody bought into clawsons offense, but trooper may have been able to get them to buy into his.

Clawson may have done okay if he actually had control. It really just looked like more Fulmer. Even if Trooper had a tiny bit of success, it's not any better if we're still mediocre but have Fulmer. In fact, it would be much worse.

I just don't get how people are quick to say that he would have been terrible. The only thing that anybody can judge him off of is his position coaching which was a success.

The situation at Auburn alone makes me glad he's not here. Maybe it's not actually because of him, but I could certainly see him being involved.
