Bryan Harsin is gonna be seen as an underrated hire down the road. He could be sneaky good in a few years.

I’m not seeing it. Auburn looked like a team with some talent that was poorly coached.

It’s getting harder and harder for me to watch college football. Every single Saturday is like someone jabbing a knife in my heart! I watch an Arkansas team playing good football after being complete garbage only 2 seasons ago. I watch Florida go toe to toe with bama, and the swamp brought the noise. I watched auburn go into a very hostile environment and have a shot at the upset. I can go on and on. The top 25 is littered with SEC teams, yet we are on the outside looking in. You go to a Tennessee game now and the upper deck is almost empty. And god forbid the Neyland crowd get crazy for 4 quarters. Maybe if we had something to get loud about, it would be easier to pull off, but instead, we have 15 years of irrelevance to hang our hats on. I’m tired of hoping to pull off an upset against an average team like Pitt, only to be let down. I’m tired of losing to the BYU’s and lowly Georgia states of the football world. I used to be so passionate about Tennessee football but now I just feel kinda numb to it. I just can’t get excited about a blowout win over Tennessee tech. Why can’t we get back to being competitive? Maybe it’s the alcohol making me emotional, but I just can’t get excited about next weeks game. I’m dreading it actually! I hope I’m wrong and we shock the gators in the swamp, but I’m just not very optimistic. I just want to be in a game like we just watched in Happy Valley. I want to be a player in college football again! Why can’t we put everything together and get this program back? When is the ball going to bounce our way?
GBO??

. I feel you man and I feel the same way now I’m completely sober right now but the state of UT football is so depressing. I see other teams make dramatic improvements from one season to the next and make good coaching hires and I see our program just continue to sputter in the mud and rot. You would think eventually we would luck into finding the right coach or QB but it never seems to happen we truly are cursed

It’s because you don’t have hope. The writing is on the wall that JH isn’t going to be the man to turn things around. When Kiffin was first hired here I was like wtf, but now I’d love to have him back. He did more here in 1 year than any coach since and did more with less talent. Hell he got Jonathan Crompton drafted. He played to win and put his players in position to compete and win whether they were outmanned or not.

I can’t name another SEC team, other than Vandy, who can’t put together at least a solid offensive line, every year. We haven’t had that in years. I don’t even want to get started on QB play! Fan apathy is setting in, recruiting is getting more difficult, programs like Kentucky and ole Miss are trending up. But yet here we are. Hoping just to keep it respectable in the swamp next week and avoid a blowout loss to the gators. We have streaks against bama, Florida and Georgia. How many wins does vandy have over us in the last several years. 5 coaches in what, 13 years? I want to feel the feeling again, that the Penn state fans just felt.
GBO!!

The ball was on 1 yard line the penalty moved it 1/2 yard 😂

I’ll admit pressure gage 1 that I wasn’t sure which down it was that it got called on. I was watching multiple games on multiple TVs. It was a bs call and if it was anything other than first down it had a lot of affect on the td.

That was a terrible call as well as the one to end the game. Didn’t even give themselves a chance.

Let me guess, you've never heard of Bryan Harsin until last night? How do you know it was a terrible call, just because it wasn't executed properly doesn't make it a terrible call, most likely it was exactly what they wanted. It just didn't work. And BTW since you don't know anything about Harsin and I suspect you know even less about AU they played way over their heads last night. The Auburn people I know expected to get beat by 3-4 TDs.

Penn State and Michigan have that feeling because they have hope right now . Both are playing well and both see that Ohio State is very vulnerable this season.

Lol. I don’t care I just know it’s dumb af to not at least get the ball to the endzone on the last play of the game.

It was a corner fade, how in the hell is that not "getting the ball to the endzone?" For such a prolific poster you seem to know very little about the game.

I think he’s referring to the last play of the game, not the fade route on fourth and goal.

Ahhh, I'm talking about the play that actually cost them the game.... 4th and goal from the 2. I'm pretty sure Nix was reading a PI call when he let the ball go, they could have thrown the flag but low odds of that happening in the circumstance.
