I was mad when they fired Chizik, because I knew, if they got a decent talent developer as a coach, they will be scary. I think auburn will push A&M for second in the west. I don't think they will stink at all. Far too much talent. Of course, we have the same thing. It will be a true coaching battle, because the teams are pretty equal in talent. Auburn might have the slight edge because of players like Dee Ford and Carl Lawson, but we should be fine with our OL.

Eh, forgot about them. I don't think LSU has a great year by their standards this year. I think I'm just trying to say that Auburn will
Make the west much more interesting this year. A&M, LSU, Auburn, Ole
Miss, Miss State and maybe Arky. Lots of teams who may potentially be something.

Go look it up yourself. And blaming CGM entirely for bad player development is stupid. Saying he was only good because of Cam Newton is borderline retarded. He was good before Cam. He knows offense.

In what way was he good before Cam? He had successful offenses in years one and two when he took over from someone else. He has not been anywhere for three plus seasons other than Auburn, and his third season at Auburn was brutal.

No, player development is not solely his fault. But this whole "offensive genius" thing is a little bit of an overreach based on what he's actually produced over any stretch of time.

The new coach is actually their former coach. A lot of players are players he originally recruited and who know his system. It's almost a ready made team experienced and has continuity with its HC. So they will be pretty well improved, more than people currently realize.
