I like that about Heupel. I wouldn’t say **** if I was him

At this point, I’m still not sure I believe it. We’ve been given the idea that he was “good to go” for a few weeks.
Agreed. Probably a thing where if absolutely in need of him to play, he could, but the risk of further injury because he's not 100% keeps him from playing. JMO of course.

Did Coach confirm this or is he going to allude that he didn’t feel like playing?

Except he didn’t play that game. He should have. Instead he said he didn’t feel like going which made it seme like Cooper had a choice to play when he didn’t. He just had a major surgery. Thankfully most of us know that Cooper isn’t soft and is 100% VFL and would NEVER sit. But sure-let’s present a public comment that makes him look like Antonio Brown.

So funny how Heupel does this. I love so many things about him and add his managing of lineups to the list. Awesome coaches are looking for every shred of an advantage they can get. Heupel is incredibly similar to Bill Belichick in the way he keeps everything close to the vest.

Maze had a really significant surgery to repair multiple hernias at the end of August. Hope all was literally telling the media a week after the procedure he thought Knows was good to go but we’d have to see. Lol. His ass knew for absolute certain he was going to be out for 6+ weeks. Lol.

Truthfully, we won’t even know if Newton is good to go until the first offense of snap of the game. I would expect he is because he was able to come back and play the second half etc.. But as we were watching the game we knew he would be getting an MRI and there was a chance something would turn off. Guys will get partial tears of MCL or LCL’s, and (on the rare occasion even an ACL) and continue playing the game they were injured in at times.

So, there’s a chance something could’ve turned up on the MRI. But if so, I Heuple would be playing it exactly as he has played the mays injury. We wouldn’t know until the first nap of the game, and afterwards he would say yeah… Just couldn’t go today. We expect him to be back next week. Lol
Is Bobby Maze back in orange now but on the gridiron?!
