You said you use CHUBB insurance for your car. What kind of insurance do you do (without giving away too much personal info)?
I have chubb for almost everything. Erie is a good company but make sure you have AAA or something as their roadside coverage is on the back-end. Amica is also very good but will not handle everything. Stay away from the guys you see commercials for constantly. Their claims will bite you.
I am no longer in the insurance industry though as an agent though. I used to buy small agencies where someone was retiring or not able to make it and the book was very small (less than a million which is 100K gross per year on average) and would shut the office down and merge with other books I had obtained nearby. I would then keep the sales producers that were good and all customer service calls would be routed to the main office.
I sold all agencies though last October and am only in telecommunications now. I sold the businesses mainly to fund the collection agency I am about to open this summer. Collections laws changed under obama and have made it almost impossible to file for bankruptcy now so collections is very lucrative and much easier.
just make sure you are ok on the contents side because that is where you can get screwed hard. automobile insurance is very cut and dry but contents varies greatly per ISO form.
make sure your policy is not broad form.
things like your bike may, or may not have cap value, depending on your coverage.
and make sure its not acv and is replacement cost.
