Awful Decision From McCain Camp

Actually, I don't know, this is beginning to sound like a concession speech without the concession

the lack of class argument regularly flows from people who have no other defense for their issues. now that you've used that, what are you gonna use?

The class that I have in ignoring you and your bable.

Good Evening. :wavey:

i don't see the problem. what is he suppose to do sit back let obama get all the attention?

More than just the fact he did it, was the way he did it. It was miniture, watch Obama's SPEECH here and notice how much more energetic it will be.

It was a poor attempt from McCain in my opinion.

He's going to get it anyway. Why waste the moment when he could have scheduled a bigger crowd tomorrow and dominated tomorrow's news cycle as opposed to falling behind the others tonight? It was a bad move.

Because a lot of Hillary supporters are upset; note last weekends spectacle. He needs to reach out to them while Obama gloats.

Oh it was an atrocious speech, but it was necessary

But could it not have been done at a better venue, in a more energetic way? That's the point I was trying to make.

I don't know that McCain can be terribly energetic, it's just not in him. I will agree on the venue, but he couldn't risk speaking to a half empty house.

Obama's set-piece speeches are delivered brilliantly, as is the case with any good orator. He isn't nearly as good when he doesn't have a script in front of him.

Obama's speeches also lack any real substance. He tries to portray himself as some kind of outsider, but in reality he is just as much of a politician as anybody in DC.

You assume wrong. Just like I knew you would, which is why I said the conservatives would blast me.

My bad, you're not supporting Obama? You were so excited by how he delivered his speech I was certain that would make you one of his.

I have not made a decision on who I am voting for, and for you to assume that I am stupid enough to vote for someone because they can stand and read a speech because I don't fawn over "your guy" is a slap in the face of anyone like me, that isn't a lemming to any one party.

(This is more a comment on the entire climate of this board and the close-minded individuals and not so much on you individually.)

More love from my fan, I'm not sure my ego can't take much more.

As stated a billion times before, if you were fair in your criticisms (i.e. both sides)maybe people wouldn't assume that.
