I really wish I could contribute to the cow puns, but all I’ve got is that I was at the NM bowl last weekend and this kid popped enough that I remembered his name despite only barely caring about the game. Don’t know how it’ll translate to the SEC level, but he looked really good for JV college ball.

I assume the thinking is besides Tillman and Hyatt we don’t have any WRs with experience. And honestly Hyatt has been very underwhelming. I really thought he was gonna be our Devonte Smith. A guy who can absolutely break the defense. He hasn’t. Not saying he won’t be but so far he hasn’t. I mean getting a quality WR that has experience and can step right in and bolster the WR corps would help out.

But you are also correct in that we need DB help badly. Man seeing all of our needs on this team, I would honestly hate to be Heupel and this staff. I don’t know how the coaches sit down and figure out the numbers.
Yeah I guess I thought those guys would be developed while Tillman and company finished up the campaign. I thought Hyatt had limited snaps because he was playing behind Jones and that people were excited about him this year?

You could be right and I M not saying Hyatt won’t be a really good WR. It’s just at this point he hasn’t been. And he probably was behind Jones and there was no way he was ever playing ahead of Jones. I really hope Hyatt breaks out next season.

It’s a Power 5 program. It’s still a step up. He’ll get to play against other big programs every week which is better for his draft stock. Not everyone can go to Georgia or Alabama 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe aside from Vandy or Kansas, it’s literally the worst P5 team. They could barely field a team with players and had tryouts. It’s one thing to go to a P5 school, but this one is in bad shape. I’d rather go to Vandy for the academics and for “going against other big programs.” But I disagree that it’s automatically better for his draft stock. I can’t speak on Arizona’s QB situation, but there are bigger G5 schools that have good QB’s. That’s a requirement for a WR.
