Was Schultz or Justis a PG? I was pretty sure Schultz was a 2 guard, was not 100% sure about Justis. If Justis is considered a PG then he merits consideration for the PG spot on the All-UT team.

You are kidding aren't you? Bernard King was the dominant player in the SEC during his career. He lead the NBA in scoring multiple times. Allan Houston was a very good college player and a good offensive player in the NBA, nothing more.

I agree with hat on this one. King was scoring big in the NBA before Jordan made it seem like a big deal. King averaged 32.9 points per game in 1984-85 before he blew out his knee.

Greg Bell was a great shooter. Mike Jackson was very good but overshadowed by E and B. Bobby Croft was a decent center.

My favorite was a borrowed football player named Howard Bain......designated hacker, rebounder and enforcer during Mears' early years. I also liked Howard Wood inside.

What about Kevin Nash? You can't leave the man who helped form the nWo off the list...

Plus, he got in a shoving match with Coach DeVoe while he was playing here.

B. King
E. Grunfield
D. Ellis
D. Nix
A. Houston
R. Slay
T. Harris
T. White
M. Brooks
C.J. Black and Watson

this would make up a very good team

if you're going to add Kevin Nash, one would assume that Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon must be on the list as well, as they were his wingmen.

and imagine my suprise to see Lang Wiseman not on that list.

I agree about King being the best ever at Tennessee. He was a dominating player, and Tennessee was 5-1 against Kentucky while he was here, I think. That's good in any era!!

I don't think his NBA career should be brought into the discussion, however. ..........That's like saying that Peyton Manning is the best QB ever at Tennessee because of what he has done with the Colts.

I would probably say that Houston is the best player at Tennessee in the post-Mears era. Would you all agree with that statement?
