About Ainge's development...

I think Ainge still has a lot of upside left in him. I was discussing with toddbond, he never really worked too much in high school, as he just got by more on his skill instead. It definitley worked here, but he got thrown into the college game with little time to prepare, and I doubt that he would have trained too intensively during the season. Ainge will only get better and better as he plays.

I agree, he looked a little rusty at the start of the O&W game, but got better. I still saw him trying to force some passes. Sanders said that he has been on Ainge about that.

Ainge said that the biggest thing he learned from watching Clausen last year was the way he passed to the backs if nobody was open. He still doesn't seem like he's willing to do that yet....He will in time though.

I sure hope so. Nothing worse than forcing a pass deep in your opponents field that results in an INT and a change in momentum.

We saw that early last season, and said it would change with "maturity." Ainge should have had enough off time to learn from mistakes and study tape. If he can't stop the Bret Favre-ish haphazardness, he might be in trouble.
