This is a thread to put all of your bad teachers you ever had through your years in Elementary school all the way through college!! Put as many as you would like!

Just put what grade you had them in and there last name! This should hold us over till the Fall!!

I'll start

Ms. Jackson in 6th grade I worked hard on a project and she called my project toilet flush I was crushed :( I asked if I could make it better she said no you are SOL :shakehead:

My second grade teacher made me stand with my nose against a circle on the chalkboard all year.

My third grade teacher spanked me with a big wooden paddle all year...one day I was wearing parachute pants.....man did that hurt.

Ms. Vuylsteke in 6th grade. Talked on the cell phone the whole time, we had fewer than 10 homework assignments the whole year. No joke.

I changed my major in college because I had a bad Psych 101 professor. By the time I took it over at UT I loved it, but I was too far into my new major. That SOB! :finger:

Mrs. Worthy in 7th grade cause she was teaching us the wrong kind of spanish that we needed to learn, so that next yr. 8th grade everyone who had that teacher was lost, and did i mention that the so called spanish teacher had never taught that launguage before but she was a french teacher?? and my spanish teacher in 8th grade was from columbia, soo that was even harder, LOL!

Ms. Langston in 8th grade, just cause she was really rude, and she was my math teacher and if you didnt understand it the first time she explained then you were screwed.

Not if she was tenured.

Tenure only ensures a teacher due process before firing, not an unearned source of income. The No Child Left Behind Act is weeding out teachers like that every day.

I think that's about the only good thing No Child Left Behind has done. Oregon schools are getting a royal screw-job from it.

That program counts against students and the school as a whole if the students are working towards a GED or something....

Seriously, Stormy, I am personally SICK of so-called "teachers" whining about standardized testing and accountability. If they don't want to work hard and help even the lowest - achieving child, WHY are they in the teaching business?? And don't say for the money, because I know that is a JOKE.
