It is a characteristic of speech that varies. And it is very true that theirs are similar. Tone is different than cadence. Style, not so much.

Has nothing to do with speech. Can't even really use it as a semi-correct term in your case. It's just wrong.

Yes, I would say that you are probably having a worse time than I did when I lived in S. Florida for 16 years. Listening to the Gators was bad enough, however, they were backing it up with wins....Having to listen to Commode Doors and Blue Unicorns may make me want to commit suicide.

You don't have any idea what you're talking about. Chaucer used it when talking about speech. Shakespeare used it when talking about speech. That's how it came into the English language.

It's pure garbage to say Peyton snubbed the Titans. How old are you? No disrespect intended but I live in Middle Tennessee and haven't batted an eye over any of those things. There aren't enough Vanderbilt or MTSU fans that it is ever a big problem losing to them.

There was no way Peyton was going to come play in Nashville. It was nothing more than a courtesy meeting for him. Titans fans don't want to hear that, but it's the truth
