Why can't I find Droopy cartoons on tv anymore
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Being a big Tex Avery, I feel your pain. YouTube is always my go to for my classic cartoon fix. And what really sucks is that many of those cartoons are blocked by YouTube from viewing here in the U.S. WTF!

I may move overseas just for the cartoons.

Seriously? Did you see what he did to Oregon 2 years in a row. Stanford doesn't exactly have bama talent. Damn good hire. Vandy must of ponied up big $$.

While you may be right We have no reason to coronate him a good hire yet....he may turn out that way but its way to early for that kind of sentiment....But I must say I did think for Vandy it was good to get the opportunity to hire a man supposedly on the rise...Of course we shall see what he can produce...

Vandy just lost their best player in years in Jordan Matthews, and Mason has 16 or so days to recruit what he can get. All in all I believe Vandy falls back to the level they were before Franklin.

Stanford's talent level is pretty good man. They may not quite have "Bama talent" but they aren't far from it.

Possibly the worst 2 UT teams ever against the best teams Vandy has ever had.

Were on the rise, they are crumbling.

I'm not worried.

While I agree with your outlook, you have to admit that this ain't your papaws Vandy tho. We are rebuilding from a dumpster fire that (IMO) Mike Hamilton set a blaze for before he bolted for the peace corp or wherever he went (who cares. Right?) and albeit we're getting there we're not there yet. And they still have some talent in the cupboards in the guitar city. Not sayin we will get beat (again) this year just sayin we can't be overlooking them either.

Stanford this past season was 10th in the nation for points allowed against them.

Stanford win #23 Arizona State scored 28 on them
Stanford win #15 Washington scored 28 on them
Stanford win #9 UCLA scored 10 against Stanford
Stanford win # 25 Oregon State scored 12 against Stanford
Stanford win #3 Oregon scored 20 against Stanford
Stanford win #25 Notre Dame scored 20 against Stanford
Stanford win #11 Arizona State scored 14 against Stanford

That is an impressive defense, no matter how you look at it.

If you think UT has the talent and offensive coaching of Oregon has to work with then you are mistaken.

Stanford has way more talent than what is left over for Vandy. It's not close at all. Stanford will be a top 10 team again next yr and Vandy will take a step or two back.

Complete moron.

My childhood favorite : Señor Droopy from Guadaloupe

Vandy must have tapped into a vein of coaching $$$ and loosened their restraints on qualifying kids....:hi:

I always thought D Mason had pretty good hands in the NFL. I would give him the edge over Bajakian.

Vandy just finished their best two-three-year stretch in 100 years and couldn't even get higher than third or fourth in the SEC East. There's no way they don't do anything but fall back. I never heard of this Mason dude until Vandy hired him and there's a big difference in a DC with a good Pac-12 team and the HC of the worst SEC program. It should be quite a while before Vanderbilt ever comes close to beating Tennessee again.

Thank you. I'll take that considering my post was the truth.

You're post is no where near the truth. You think Vanderbilt is closer to Stanford than Tennessee is to Oregon? That's an incredibly stupid post.

Hey he's right, Geographically speaking anyway.
2541 driving miles between Knoxville and Eugene
2280 miles from Nashville to Stanford

Vandy is closer to Stanford than UT is to Oregon.

Ummmm.....if that is true as you claim....why didn't Vandy blow us out by 45 like Oregon did that got beat up by Stanford....not squeaking out a last minute victory against a team with no offensive continuity and inept passing game?

It would make sense if you're speaking the truth.......interesting
