It's time to see what his offensive unit can do. He's got their ideal QB and the team had an off week to learn more of the plays. Let's see if we see more production.

What about the previous two weeks?

IIRC, we played two top ten teams using what was our 4th string QB at the beginning of the year.

Since Dobbs essentially doubled his practice reps with the first team that he has received in his short career within the past two weeks, we might just see a bit of an improvement.

Plus, Vandy is no Auburn, nor Missouri.

I have a feeling we know the playbook by now. Probably have since the second or third week o practice.

The last two weeks should have given him plenty of time to iron out some issues and tighten our game up. If we do not look well prepared and sharp today it should raise some eyebrows.

I agree that Dobbs has the potential to be an ideal quarterback for this system. But a freshman starting due to two injuries in front of him is far from the ideal quarterback right now.

Yes they need to come out throw the ball. Going uptempo and straight smack em in the mouth on the first drive! Let the ball headed candy coach know this ain't Derek dooleys sqaud no more

The thing is, if Ohio State played our schedule, the would be 7-3 Tops! :banghead2:

But this team should be the same, or coaches should be fired????

It's not that we lost, but how we lost

It's like a fight. You lose in the first round or you fight to the last bell.

I doubt OSU would have been blown out like we have been

I think this game more than the last two will show us where we are in regards to eVOLving. The reason I say this is Vandy has less talent but I think Franklin has developed them more. We have more talent but the Dools never developed them. Therefore, I think we will finally see what kind of coaches and game planning we can expect for the foreseeable future. We have had weeks to prepare for a team comparable to us, in as far as, being able to go to head to head (painful to say). The team has had more time to gel and get experience. If we lay an egg and have predictable play calling I for one will be a little concerned. I hope the fear off losing out on a bowl game does not make them play or coach conservative or timid. Put it all on the line.

Look at our roster. Our best two wr's are a freshman and a sophmore. Qb is a freshman. Best pass rusher is a freshman. The entire secondary is about 14 years old. And Sapp and Brewer are starting lbs for us.

It wasn't this the last three years, why all of a sudden does it matter now?

It's either coaching or not
