I don't completely disagree, especially those early game carries that Jabari normally gets when the opposing defense is fresh. We usually don't get more than 3-4 yards at best. Getting 5-6 yards instead makes a world of difference in how you call the game. The draw back is you're not likely to get chunk plays either (those 20+ yard carries) when he's in the game.Yeah I know. I just think he’d fit in nice in our offense
Didn't he average like 2 yards a carry against us? He looked slow and ineffective, regardless of what his squat and bench press numbers were...why is everyone so enamored with him?
SEC backs did the same thing against us for the most part.
He’s running behind MAC OL. I saw him several times. We don’t have a single back as physical as he is. I’m not saying get him I’m just taking up for him a little bit. Wherever he goes he’s gonna be a good pickup. He’s a workhorse.
Yea, if you adjust for yards after contact he probably averaged 6 ypc that game,I liked him when he played against us - he was getting hit in the backfield but rarely went down without a few additional yards. Plus, he's got a pet alligator - how cool is that! Very strong, physical runner but too slow to be any kind of every down back in the SEC IMO. Maybe Kentucky could use him, but I don't think he fits our scheme.
