Bama about to push for Gregg Marshall

College basketball is a coach driven sport, even moreso that football. Wherever Marshall goes he will draw players because of his past success and having put guys in the association. It won't matter if his home court is in a hay barn as long as his guys get media exposure, which they will, he'll be a draw for recruits. I think most people recognize this and that's why we don't want to see him at another SEC school.

Gregg Marshall at Bama would make me sick.

3 straight 30 win seasons. He's made one move as a head coach. I'd love to have him in Knoxville but I don't see him taking any sec job outside of KY or Fl.

Well WSU is out of the dance now. I guess we should all count on Marshall being named HC at Bama within the next few days, right?

Didn't really mean it that way. When Hart arrived there was an assumption that we were getting access to the same sort of A list coaches that he dealt with at FSU and Bama. It's starting to look like someone else held those connections and we got the empty suit.

So Bama and FSU have hired A list bball coaches?

As far as football, UT is a notch below (from an attraction standpoint) to FSU and Bama.
