I was talking to a guy that plays football there. He his only a sophmore and he believes Bama will be put on probation. He said Dre Kirkpatrick was bought a 2008 Dodge Charger buy some Alabama alumnus.

I took it with a grain of salt, but thought it was interesting and thought I would share.
Thoughts?

You didn't fix sophmore. It should be sophomore. There you go!

Ok, so is there ANY actual fact backing this up? Or all speculation and rumors? Has anyone heard something from a credible source?

Superstar athletes these days have it easy in recieving loans for cars. I'm not sure if it works so much in football but Lebron years back was able to say to the bank...."Look, I'm going to be drafted #1 overall in this years NBA Draft....Let me get this car loan and you will be paid back in 5 months."

I'm guessing Julio Jones could have done a similar thing, but B rate players won't be so lucky. And those "part-time" jobs the players have cough**Rhett Bomar**cough could barely afford an expensive car by themselves.

Can't see it. Is that from today?

The thread was started yesterday, here is the first post:

Alabama will have in its possesion tomorrow another letter from the NCAA outlining 144 violations.

They have already disassociated some boosters.

There is a lawsuit between Alabama board members and CNS.

CNS may not even be there this fall.

The NCAA is very upset with Alabama for 3 reasons: "Bowl" game with Hawaii when they were put on probation, the arrogance shown in the lawsuits against the NCAA, and the death threats that those who cooperated with the NCAA received.

Alabama thought they had humbled the NCAA with the lawsuits and thought the NCAA would not dare of bother them again. The arrogance is amazing. So the REC went wide open when they hired CNS and he gave them the green light.

That is going to be one expensive 12-2 season and win over Auburn that will likely be forfeited.
.

7 and counting!

Guy says he is very confident, the board seems to know him and he states that he will never post again if this doesn't come to light by the next signing day. Take it for what it's worth.

Looks like the dealership was raided for other issues. However, if the owner is a thief, he might be dumb enough to give a car to a player. Is there any validity to this?
