Bama bias

Vegas is greasing refs in the NFL too. If it happens in the NBA you know it's happening in football. Too much money on the table.

Yep, Money, and they rationalize things by implying they are leaning their bias to get as many top SEC teams in the F4. Ergo all teams in the SEC get a small piece of the Pie, so underlings get in your corner and you'll take it and like it.:(

I do agree Chattanooga would be a great location. But, the state of Alabama would pay every penny they could beg, borrow, or steal to keep it out of the state of TN. JMHO I do think it should be in a central location. But, where would central be? They have added Texas and OU. Next thing you know UCLA and SC will be trying to get into the SEC. Just how far west can they go and still call it the SOUTHEASTERN conference?

Young Steven Martin idea: Fire all SEC refs and hire random rotating crews from FBS and FCS conferences.

It is well past time for the NFL and upper level of college to go to full time refs. Pete Carroll was talking about that the other day.

And it isn't so much that Bama gets ALL the calls ...it is as much about the timing of the calls as anything.

Bama is reeling on defense? Let's find something to review and give them a breather.

Arkansas is moving the ball? Time for a holding penalty to kill the drive.

Bama needs a TD to open up a lead? Better look the other way when one of their WR pushes off to get wide open.

I didn't think Arkansas scored on that play, but Bama clearly gets the benefit of the doubt on holding and pass interference calls. There was also a play where a Bama player tackled an Arkansas player out of bounds. The most egregious no-call was the targeting hit on Hendon Hooker by Bama. It wasn't even reviewed. The announcer started to bring it up, realized what he was saying, and dropped it.

Y’all sound whiny and jealous
Jealous of the state of Alabama? Are you drunk? Have you ever been to that inbred state? I can't speak for anyone else. I am just tired of the refs constantly helping the Tide. They used to try and hide it but now it is so obvious they don't even try to hide it. I understand the SEC wants two teams in the playoffs but if the Tide can not beat Arkansas without the ref's help, then so be it. The funny thing is Auburn does not get the calls that the Tide gets so there has to be something going on under the table with the money bags.

TN fans and their Bama “bias.” Clearly the only way Bama has won all of their games ie because of the refs. Good grief.
Ah, to be young. This ain’t new. The SEC has always been about the dollars. I’ve watched SEC football since 1970. Not much has changed in 51 years. The haves get a good whistle. The have-nots…don’t. Arkansas will never get the benefit of the doubt again Bama.

No one ever said they won ALL their games because of the refs. But, they have won way too many close games because of the refs. I can not remember the last time a crucial call was reviewed and it went against the Tide.
I often wonder why when the Tide is blowing an opponent out the refs seem to be a lot more accurate. But, let the game be close and the break is going to the Tide, even if the refs have to create the break. If you can not see or admit that, you either don't watch the Tide play or you are a Tide fan that is just trolling here. JMHO

Didn't get to watch the first half....did bama get the obligatory offensive holding call on their last drive of the first half? Take note that there is always one of those if there's no time in the clock and bama is just running it out.

Then it "balances" it out. "See, we do call holding on bama."

It's sickening the regularity with which that happens.

Bama got two offensive holding calls. One was terrible and derailed a drive into scoring territory. The other was a good call and took a TD off the board. Also had a holding call on a punt return right before the half, so I guess that fits your theory.

IF this is true I need to watch the game when it comes on the SEC network. It will be the first time I have ever seen those things happen in a close game. I could not watch yesterday. I had to work.

Not going to change til King Saban decides to retire. If there is a chance to get 2 teams into the playoff funny things will continue to happen..

No I’m not drunk. And clearly I’m not talking about the State of Alabama but if that fits your agenda, go ahead and spout about it. Obvious to most, I’m talking about jealous of the success of the alabama football program.

They have earned much of their success. But, not all of it. Can you honestly say you can't see what we are all talking about with the refs? You have to be a Tide fan not to admit it stinks.

I didn’t see much of that game. I’m not a Bama fan.
