If you go to the 3:36 mark of this video you’ll see the play. Don’t know how he thought this was an out and thought he had a good enough view to make that determination. I think he’d seen enough and was ready to hit the showers.

Fischer was stalling on purpose to get the away crowd and team pissed and I loved it. The foul tip in the dirt from Bargo is what got him angry at the ump, nothing more.
