Bama Commits are Weird

They're not weird. The kind of money Bama throws around buys them the term "eccentric".

What if...and I know this sounds crazy...Saban knows more than the "recruiting experts "?

No effing way! The only coach capable of this is Butch Jones. Don't you even read VN??!

Is there any doubt they will finish Top10?

no.

But I am surprised they don't have most of their class locked up already. Seems like their NSD is usually pretty low key since they always have a Top5 class.

Bama actually has came in second for a few guys this year. Tennessee has landed some of these kids too. Recruiting services will always adjust ratings to make Bama look better though. I look more at offer lists and how hard those elite schools are pursuing a kid.

Recent results indicate the experts were spot on in their ratings. Tell me again how the Bama players were overrated.

Development and system has more to do with Bamas player success. A lot of great Bama players have been huge busts at the pro level.

Did this really happen? Was the dude a 2 star before he committed?

He's not even ranked at his position. There's no way a 4* kid has no position ranking, which is proof they bumped his stars without actually evaluating him and ranking him against his peers. The kids offer list is terrible!

At the end of the day, what difference does it make? The game isn't played on paper or the Internet.

Currently sitting at 26th on 247. Only have 10 players verbally committed at the moment, but 6th in average star rating per player. Next February, when it's all said and done, they'll be top 3, if not the #1 class in the country. Is there any doubt?
