I really don't get why he would be uncooperative with investigators. That implies he either lied or knows more than he is saying.

Most folks would want the culprit caught and would totally cooperate to ensure that happens.

Edited to add: I am not in law enforcement but even I can tell there is something wrong with this whole thing.

This screams of a drug deal gone bad.

Now that is some common sense.

Saban would reply with, this kid is much better off under his watchful eye. More specifically, his watchful eye during games.

From experience, I suspect he knows or at least knows someone who can identify the shooter

"Snitches get stitches"

Thats the hardest part of trying to investigate shootings. Nobody wants to say anything then turn around and blame the police because nothing is done

Make up your mind

Yep. Big, big issue in one community down here.

Shootings every other day almost but no one ever talks out of fear. Endless cycle.

Some people have an aversion to speaking to police for fear of retribution. No clue what sort of bar or crowd he was with, but it seems to me he is probably looking out for himself and his friends that were with him. People that shoot someone at a bar are not exactly Jehovah's Witnesses. Can't blame the kid for not cooperating if that is the case.

But this is all conjecture on our part. We'll likely never know what really went down.

Not a rant, just comes for 13 years of Law enforcement experience.

No need to get all worked up buddy. Noone at the NCAA or University of Alabama iz going to say anything about the amount of felons on the field or in a recruiting class as long as they are winning, so calm down.

dude is in here defending this by saying he was drunk and tired? hahahaha wtf

Well I mean, Florida has a WR currently using "I was too high on drugs to give consent, therefore I couldn't have raped her, she actually raped me" as his actual, court documented defense.

LOL.
