I stopped in Meridian Mississippi last night for fuel. There were three buses full of Alabama fans at the pilot. None of them seemed to happy. I flashed my UT stuff with pride. But I would have given anything to have just finished off a 11-2 season.

To trash talk them is just a very bad idea because they have to much talent to be down for a long time. I think right now is the time for any other conference to win them a NC, because LSU, Ark, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, FL, Bama, UT, And SC will all be reloading and rebuilding the next few seasons. I hate all SEC teams besides UT, but I hate coaches like Bob Stoops running their mouth about the SEC even more. The SEC's 6-8 win teams are statically better then other conferences 6-8 win teams majority of the time, and that's what makes the SEC so special. All Vol fans should support their conference IMO, even though it is hard to support Bama and FL. If we can't eat the cake, we might as well hope someone in our family gets to just to prevent other families from enjoying it, just my opinion.

Don't know what "family" you are talking about, but the University of Alabama?!? I could pull for the Gators, the Hells Angels, Marilyn Manson, any f%$@*%g body but those jack legs. That is the ONE team that, under no circumstances, any real Vol fan could ever pull for. Forgive him, General, for even suggesting such blasphemy. You obviously don't understand that anytime Alabama loses, it is a good thing.

I did read through a couple of Bammer forums early this morning. One of the more entertaining ones was a thread taking the BAMA OC to task and wanting him gone. Believe it or not many there wanting Kiffiepuss to be OC which was an eye opener. I laughed alot as lots of people were serious, stupid but serious about this, which is typical Bammer. You score 30+ points the other team scores 45 and you're raising hell about the offense??? lol

Just for some perspective; there was quite a bit of moaning about Chsney last year despite averaging 35 points a game.

Nevertheless, Bammers are a special kind of crazy. Hopefully no one was shot last night over them losing.

So I'm not a real Vol fan because I rather see a SEC team win then hear Bob Stoops talk s*** about the conference we play in? When SEC teams win it makes me feel a little better knowing we at least lose to superior teams in the country. I don't go home and cheer for Bama, but when they win it only helps the conference we play in. Any Vol fan should cheer and appreciate their conference because the stronger our conference is the more impressive it'll be when we dominate again one day soon.

I have friend that is a big Duke basketball fan. He summed up this line of thinking perfectly.

"When UNC wins the NCAA tourney I don't chant three letters... I scream four."
