I'll give the guy serious credit. I watched quite a few BGSU games after we played them. Yes, their QB Matt Johnson is capable of making some incredibly accurate throws, but Dieter is an excellent receiver. They made each other better. Dieter was always in position and put himself in position to where only he could catch the ball. They were a killer combo, and I can only imagine what they would've done if they were surrounded by even better talent. Great pickup for Bama. He likely won't get as many catches in their offense, but for his future, it's a good move. He'll get much more exposure there.

Probably both. Dude ran great routes and got open, and his QB was very accurate. Saban wouldn't take a kid who couldn't really play. This isn't good news for us.
