Auburn has 2 or 3 d linemen out due to being kicked out of the uga game. they won't be close to stopping bama and bama will stop them 2 or 3 times. i say 45-28 bama.

Rrrrrr....

Let me try again.

Rrrrrr....

One more time, I can do this.

Rrrrrr....

Sorry, I can't make myself type it either. So go Alabama.

I hope Auburn loses badly. Badly. That isn't the same thing as cheering for 'Bama.

I really don't like both schools. If I had my way, they would play to a 0-0 tie, and neither would win. However, I have less respect for Auburn than Alabama, so I guess I have to pull for Alabama.

Technically, don't we have to root for Bama to win? If Auburn loses, they don't play in the NC, and the SEC only sends 1 team to a BCS game. By that standard, one less second-tier bowl game is available, thus eliminating our chance to get a bowl game if we happen to win Saturday, right?

...and yes, it is quite a punch in the gut if true.

No, the SEC champion will go to the BCS automatically, and LSU will be an at-large selection if they don't blow their last game. Which they won't, because they have the luck of Les Miles on their side.

Actually, I'm still expecting Auburn to beat Bama, and then the NCAA declare Newton ineligible during the week, thus making LSU the SEC West champs.

I vote a bench-clearing brawl where the game has to be forfeited by both teams, but in reality... Bama will win.

For the holiness and purity of college football, we need Bama to win (irony of all ironies)

I'm going for Bama, for the sole reason that if these allegations do turn into violations and Auburn wins out with a NC which is vacated then it'll just embarrass the SEC.

I was trying to watch it, but I don't want to see either one do well. :disappointed: Signing off now.

But one more thing. When I heard Earnest Tubb sing, I said, I love ole ET, but hell I can sing better than that.

And when I stop and think that some high-placed decision-maker thinks Verne Lundquist is talented as a national network college football game broadcaster ...
