5 Star Alabama Verbal Landon Collins' mom: "Saban offered job to Landon's girlfriend for Collins' commitment." Not sure if true, but not good news for Bama.


She may be crazy. You guys probably remember her disapproval of his Bama commitment on live TV.

Well I am 100% positive that Saban is doing something that is a major violation.

She obviously has issues, but maybe some of her problem with bama is the way they recruit.. Maybe she's not a fan of dirty recruiting, and is an extremely honest person.. You're crazy if u don't think bama is buying select players... I still don't know how they've made it through all these allegations the last year or two.. I mean the dre k and Richardson incidents??? C'mon maaaannn....

Even if this was a violation, does she really care so little about her kid's future that she would take a chance on getting his team in trouble? Sad.

Huh? His gf is the reason he's there..$ from Saban is the reason she made sure he will be there.. Whether she already pocketed money, or was promised a job, something's fishy.. Id guess that it was kinda like, take this $10/hr job now, and then when u graduate, u will be promoted to a new position with a salary.. To make it less noticeable.. We will have all forgotten about he LC scandal by then.. Saban is a sneaky, but smart guy.. Hopefully Sal has learned the way of the master...

Its crazy the stuff I hear from kids and their parents in northeast alabama about how bama the things they ll offer to recruits and how open they are about it down here. Its like the ncaa isn't allowed near the city of tuscaloosa.

To me it sounds like lsu was trying to buy him via mommy and bama was going for the cheaper route his gf. Grats to saban for knowing the recruit better than miles.

she's an insane LSU fan and is mad they lost a top recruit. She doesn't care about their recruiting and it appears she doesn't care about her son very much either

You missed the point. If it was about following his gf, why would a student job matter? She is going to Alabama on a track scholarship, so she would be in Tuscaloosa with or without the job. So why is this job thing even important?
