I know this is cart before the horse just hear me out.
It’s hard to beat a good team twice I know. But I’ve heard people really say they don’t want to see bama in SEC CG if we were to make it to Atlanta.
I think they are very beatable again and for me (hating bama more than all other teams) I cannot think of anything sweeter that stepping on their throat 2x.

It would be a retirement acceleration exercise for little Nicky.
y’all don’t forget after last years game he said now that they had to play a “real team” with LSU the next week. Let’s make his tail quit! If we got 2 or 3 more 3rd down stops we coulda beat them by 14-21 pts

I think Bama is going to drop another one. There is to
many internal issues staring surface. When have we ever heard a BaMa team say they had anxiety publically. And that came from there defensive leader W Anderson!! Could you ever imagine big Al Wilson saying something like that?? Something ain’t right in that locker room. I think we see Ole Miss if we take care of our business first.

The only thing that gives me hope in beating Bama in the SECCG is having McCullough and Hadden back and our secondary improving over that time. Bama’s secondary and WRs could improve over that time also. Ideally we go 12-0 and get Ole Miss in the SECCG

We owe Kiffin a good butt whoopin. Bring mustard. Lots of mustard.

Go VOLS

I think I’m the only Tennessee fan that forgives Kiffin and actually likes him. I hated what he did at the time, but USC was his dream job and I don’t blame him for leaving. It hurt our program, but Mike Hamilton hurt it even more by hiring Dooley. I hope Heupel coaches here for another 15 years, but if he were to blow up and get offered an NFL job I’d love to have Kiffin back here

I'd rather have Tennessee play Ole Miss in the SEC Championship Game. I don't think there will be a rematcg in the Playoffs because i don't think Alabama will be in the Playoffs.

Well, that's not exactly surprising.

Kiffin screwed UT. Maybe you enjoyed it... but I'm not that kind of guy.

NEVER take Kiffin back. He has no loyalty. He'd likely screw UT again given the chance and laugh louder on the way out of town.

My dad for some reason likes Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss is his 2nd favorite college football team besides Tennessee:rolleyes:

How did he “screw“ us? He took a better job that everyone knew he was going to take once enough people turned it down that paid him more. It’s also been nearly 15 years since that happened. He’s grown up a lot since then. He still loves Tennessee and he knows what he did was wrong. Coaching is a business. They do what’s best for them and their families. He didn’t take the USC job to be a prick. He did it because it was a better job at that time even with sanctions coming down the pipeline than Tennessee was

There is no better job than Tennessee. Tennessee is the Alpha and the Omega in regards to college football.

If we make it that far, and lose, we will almost certainly get a 3rd matchup. There hasn't been more than 3 undefeated in the cfp, and a 1 loss SEC team would be first in line.

It would be great if we played Old Miss in Atlanta. I will be an Old Miss fan when they play Lil Nicky.

I could be wrong but I dont recall the loser of the SEC championship game ever being selected for the playoffs.

The post above is correct. Kiffin only left here for his dream job. If any of us were working in BAMA land and our dream job of working in Knoxville or wherever you are from came open we would all jump on it.

Some of us are so petty I think perhaps you're teenage girls.

I want to face Ole Miss, not only because I think it’ll be smoother than trying to beat bama twice, but also because I want salt in Bamas wounds. Let them miss the SECCG and the Playoffs.

If we are able to make it to the SEC championship it would be great to play Ole Miss. If that happens, everyone should bring a bottle of French’s mustard. They would confiscate them but what a scene, 40,000 bottles of mustard by the gates.

Doesn’t matter.

If we’re good enough to go undefeated while beating UF, Bama, LSU, Pitt, and UGA then we’d be good enough to beat Bama twice or give payback to Kiffin.

Coach Hype is working miracles around here and these players got fight like I’ve not seen since the ‘90s.

Between this and Henry T, I think I haven’t heard „just business“ so frequently since I last talked with the Corleone family
