I know this is cart before the horse just hear me out.
It’s hard to beat a good team twice I know. But I’ve heard people really say they don’t want to see bama in SEC CG if we were to make it to Atlanta.
I think they are very beatable again and for me (hating bama more than all other teams) I cannot think of anything sweeter that stepping on their throat 2x.

It would be a retirement acceleration exercise for little Nicky.
y’all don’t forget after last years game he said now that they had to play a “real team” with LSU the next week. Let’s make his tail quit! If we got 2 or 3 more 3rd down stops we coulda beat them by 14-21 pts

For me, beating Bama and knocking them out of the championship game would be very satisfying to me. Who is best on the field has already been decided.

Here's how a Bama-Vols II game will unfold. Bama will be anxious to show that their first loss was a fluke. They will come and play at a higher gear. Dead set on proving that they still Bama. The Vols will be anxious to show hey are no one hit wonder, and play with a, You'll have to take my lifeless body out on my shield before I surrender. It will be a savage game of hard hits, on field fights, raging testosterone, and program pride will make the recent Bama-Vols game pale by comparison. I dare say, this will be a Battle of Passchendaele type of game. And if the field is natural grass, the field will testify of that battle. Whoever wins, and I hope it's the Vols, it will be the most talked about game for the next ten or more years. You think Neyland was loud and rowdy? We've already seen incidents of violent Bama-fan stupidity, and Vols-fans are sure to respond in kind if attacked. In game two, Vols and Bama fans screaming for their teams and at each other, the bad thing will be if the stadium staff not having barriers separating the two. The battle will not only be on the field, but in the stands as well. As the game goes, so goes the reactions of the fans. When the time portal that periodically appears on my deck showed up, I walked through, and that is the chaos I witnessed. For this reason, I don't want that game, I want us battling the Kiffin team.

I think Bama is going to drop another one. There is to
many internal issues staring surface. When have we ever heard a BaMa team say they had anxiety publically. And that came from there defensive leader W Anderson!! Could you ever imagine big Al Wilson saying something like that?? Something ain’t right in that locker room. I think we see Ole Miss if we take care of our business first.

NIL screwd up their pay scale, leading to all kinds of resentment and infighting :p

How did he “screw“ us? He took a better job that everyone knew he was going to take once enough people turned it down that paid him more. It’s also been nearly 15 years since that happened. He’s grown up a lot since then. He still loves Tennessee and he knows what he did was wrong. Coaching is a business. They do what’s best for them and their families. He didn’t take the USC job to be a prick. He did it because it was a better job at that time even with sanctions coming down the pipeline than Tennessee was

All valid points.

He also destroyed our program for 10 years by his actions.

That one fact trumps anything else.
