Someone should photoshop a picture of Saban sitting on that embankment, staring off into the distance, as proof of how much he "wants it" for Alabama.

I personally think he "wants it" for Saban. Bama is just reaping the rewards that come along with it. He's got it rolling and i don't see much stopping it at this point in time.

It's a question of what college football's status as an amateur sport means these days. Bama's budget is 50M for football this year, and at some point the "win at all costs" mentality undermines college football as an amateur sport.

Maybe it's time to start to let the players earn some of the money they're making by playing, and start to see college football for what it is, a pro league.
