Bama submits play for league office review

What a whinner. Never thought I would hear Saban Whining about a game.
Desperate people do desperate things
He is a chump. He is gone soon.

With NIL he knows he can't just out-talent everyone anymore. It's why he got into it with Jimbo earlier this year. He sees his advantage slipping away by the day and I agree, he is beginning to seem a bit desperate.

I love it. :D

Other angles showed Thomas' right shoulder pad hitting Young.

Yeah, even in that clip if you pause and show frame by frame. I thought it was targeting for sure when it happened and we were going to lose Big O for the game, but looks like the refs. took their time and got it right.

But hey, they want to cry to the League Office, go ahead. If we have to sit out O for the UT Martin game, I think we can still struggle through it. :p

I thought it was a target and that he'd be ejected, but it gets called differently all the time. I've said for years that the ejection needs to be taken out of the equation and let the league office review and hand out suspensions on Sunday. There's too much open to interpretation to figure it out in a quick review during the game.
WELL YOU'RE WRONG

I hope Sankey has the balls to tell Saban to grow up and get over it.
Seriously, it is time for Sankey to develop some balls and take up for the Officials and basically state it is over with and quit your bickering and do your job.
Saban talks and speaks his mind too much and Sankey has allowed it to happen.

Exactly. Saban knows he may have to face the vols again and wants refs to be pressured to call every hit on his qb targeting.
This is why I think you send a goon on to send a serious message. I think they need a lesson in what targeting actually is, no?

Dear Alabama,

Thank you so much for your recent submittal - we value your input. However, after additional review, we confirm that the initial additional reviews adequately addressed the issue. No further action is warranted.
Again, Thank you for your submittal.

Sincerely,

SEC

Wonder if Nick is feeling Father Time creeping up on him and is wanting number seven real bad.

There is some chatter Alabama has taken some Prima Donna's (Ricks,, for example) without setting some expectations that Georgia and OSU had laid down when recruiting him because of character concerns. They are not the same team this year they have been in the past. Too many mistakes, relatively undisciplined compared to former teams.

I'm sure that he is in much better health than Bear was at the end, but Saban is 70 years old. If nothing else, he has reached the point where opposing coaches can justifiably make the argument, in their recruiting pitches, that "you can't count on him being there for your entire college career."
