That’s not how they determine it. Bama is undefeated, so they’re in. Notre Dame is the same. Oklahoma and Clemson. No way UGA vaults them and Ohio State with two losses.

not sure anybody else in the SEC will come close to a national championship

(granted, uga was close both this year and last)

Kirby clearly had his team ready but the dumbest decision of the football year may have cost him the game. I’m sure some UGA fans will start asking why Fields didn’t play more but Fromm played well.

Jalen Hurts has improved as a passer and reading defenses.

It's unreal....the dude could have left. Well within his rights to do so.

But instead he stayed at watched Tua...and actually improved as a player. Taking coaching....Watching a QB read a defense properly.

And then to see the very real bond between him and Tua is amazing.

Crazy stuff...

You mean this year or in the near future? This year, yes you are right. Near future? I see plenty of SEC teams coming close to a natty in 2-3 years. Texas A&M is recruiting lights out, Jimbo will get them close. LSU is playing well, and *Gulp* even UF can get close if they recruit better.

I woiod say that going into the second half with a lead in last years championship game and a sizable lead in the SECCG heading into the half against bama is the very definition of getting a sniff of a natty.

But me personally, I've been very critical of JG.

I tell you what....id love for Enos to get a hold of him. If he can improve Jalen Hurts THAT much...

JG could be the guy with that level of improvement

Point taken. Either way, Kirby keeps chocking, just like all former Saban assistants. That fake punt call was the closest thing to a head coach throwing the game that I have ever seen.
