Bama-vt

Seriously?

Yep. Seriously. They have run all over VT, and thats not a shabby defense. There are some better SEC defenses, but 4 quarters worth of play and eventually they break you down. (As long as Ingrams healthy) They are beatable, but I don't think its done on the ground.

If VT's inept offense could have stayed on the field longer than 3 and out for for more than 20% of the game, their defense may have stood a better chance.

a physical DEEP defense could stop the Bama ground game. VT's D is impressive and athletic but are thin at spots and when you dont have fresh bodies coming in and out, of course its going to show later in the game..

True. VT has to be dog tired on the defensive side of the ball.

But I don't see to many teams in the SEC with Stellar offenses that move the ball much better. Outside of Florida, Ole Miss and possibly LSU, Bama will dominate time of possession.

Both of our teams moved the ball today, but it was against inferior teams. We shall see. I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, they are small up front.

It would take a DEEP defense, because by the look of things, Bama is deep on the O-line and RB.

Out in the fields of Blacksburg,
an abandoned outhouse lies,
some call it Virginia Tech,
some call it V-P-I........

....(it goes on but you get the point)......

so glad to see the Tide roll up on em at the end of that game....
