So the deal is thus. If he had stepped out and reestablished himself and been the first touch the ball it would be a penalty; however, the ball was tipped so Moss was no longer the first to touch it so since he stepped out and reestablished himself back in it's a catch.How in the world is that a complete pass? I mean, I want LSU to win, but how do they call that complete when he clearly steps out of bounds before the ball gets there? That’s not even close!
You can’t be the first to touch the ball if you go out on your own, which he did. The Bama player barely tipped the ball so he was the first player to touch it and then the LSU player had his feet in when he caught the ball.Explain how that was the correct call, please, as I always thought you were not allowed to catch a ball after stepping out of bounds.
