Bama

I'm still surprised he didn't call the defensive sets in the bowl game. That replacement DC made a mockery of the good season Bama's defense had.

Were is my Tusk buddy at anyway?

Can I ask a serious question here? If BAMA were to get a Saban calibur coach, ok if it were Saban, would you fans hate it as far as thinking he will turn the program around?

I am for the SEC having the best coaches in the land. But I wouldn't care if Bama hired Dave Campo (the worst head coach i have ever seen) and never one more than 5 games EVER!!!

Thats what I was thinking. Can you imagine the shock on my face when I read that?

It's tough with some of these younger guys, but honestly it's somewhat understandable. Other than a good year here and there, if you are under the age of about 21 you probably can't remember a time when Bama was a powerhouse.

Bingo... from a competitive standpoint, I do need a reason. But I'm content with not having that reason. :)

I'm 15 and I hate Bama... and I still consider them our most hated rival.... But getting the Florida victory probably does bring me more pride... I just wish the Florida game was moved to the end of the year, and vandy or kentucky moved back.

Me on the other hand . . . I remember other games earlier, but the first really significant win I can remember was us beating Bear Bryant for the first time in 11 years in 1982.

I remember that one as well. 11 years old, when I could start to appreciate rivalries within sports.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the rivalry between Alabama and Tennessee, and I definitely don't like them... but I just can't make myself hate'em more than I do Florida, primarily because of the 90s, when I started watching. Now, if Alabama were to go back to beating UT regularly, they'd definitely contend for that number one hated spot.

That was also the same day I noticed "Hey, people sure do drink a lot after a big win."

who cares if they get Saban. He has never stayed anyplace longer than 5 or 6 years. He will dump Bama too. Bama also needs to remember history, if a coach consistenly denies the job then takes it, not much integrity.........tones of Francione.

Every Bama fan wants to act like they have direct lines to the decision process. I won't believe another rumor until it actually happens (of course that would no longer make it a rumor).

CBS just reported that Mal Moore is meeting with Saban today.

My gut tells me he's coming.

How long will Miami put up with the fact that they are sitting at home again during the playoffs. In this day and age it's not tolerated like that. I see Saban taking the Bama job.

Yeah UT isn't exactly sitting at home, but we haven't won an SEC Championship since 98. Why do you think we are tired of Fulmer and Chavis.

Hey guys, sorry for my lack of posting lately. Both of our teams really stunk it up in the bowls didn't they! Hopefully there will be some news one way or another on Saban before the end of the day. I just want all this crap to be over with.

good luck atleast if you guys get saben your problem is fixed. we still have to suffer through medocrity for atleast 4 or 5 more years. you pick him up and we will be left behind. good move.

I hope he takes it. I dont care who Bama ends up with as coach, they still can't change the fact that they are Alabama.

I am not worried about who Bama gets, or UGA, UF or anyone else. I hope it raises the standard in our own house!
