No way Joe Kines will be the head coach. His one responsibility was to call timeouts at the appropriate time. He completely blew that. He should apologize to his players for not giving them a chance to come back and tie the game by conserving time with the timeouts.

Way to try to ice the kicker on a 20 yard field goal. How idiotic. Having one timeout would give you a minute chance of getting a downfield pass and then a field goal. With zero timeouts they have almost zero chance.

exactly, blew all your time outs on a gimme FG, now your offense has no way to throw a ball deep down the middle into Fg range, then stop the clock

That helmet removal rule is dumb. The guy was running off the field. It's not like he broke into a dance routine.

I agree, quite possibly the stupidest penalty. It was called against Hawaii the other night after a long FG

To all the people that say they always pull for the SEC . . . You can't tell me that it doesn't make you smile slightly watching Bammer get kicked in the nads like that.

Kines just blew his trial under fire for the coaching job. The only way he gets the job is if everyone else refuses, which is looking more and more the case

Exactly. He made himself look like a fool in the final minutes of Alabama's postseason. That's the thing everyone will remember. There's no way he will be hired.
