I will always pull against Alabama. I don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama!

Alabama fans are the scum of the earth. It shames me to think that people who call themselves "Vol fans" would ever root for them to win anything. I just don't get the whole "SEC Pride" thing. If it involves rooting for Alabama to win a national championship, I want no part of it.

This. Buck Fama. Gave me a warm feeling inside to see A&M beat em.. I love seeing a multitude of bammers with broken hearts.

I was not sad for one second when Bama got beat by another SEC team. The NC can go to any confrence in the world and it still does not make the SEC any weaker. We will see when the playoff format comes into play...then the roll of NC for the SEC will just pile up again...anytime Bama loses, that is a plus for me.

I'm happy anytime Bama loses. Hard for me to even pull for them in a NC game, but I do only for the sake of the SEC. It's like freakin' Stockholm syndrome...

What the **** does the SEC have to do with it? Get over the homerism bull****

aTm made the world safe for passed out K-State, Oregon, or ND fans on the day of the BCS title game. This leaves Bammers with their usual choice of carnal relationship: horse, sheep, or sister.

Says it all about a fanbase when several of their number cheered "Roll Tide" as a deviant engaged in sexual assault.

They are low-life clowns and the SEC's answer to the English football hooligan, except West Ham or Millwall fans would lay waste to Bammers in a matter of minutes. I would pay to witness that carnage.

Their university stinks and should've been left in a heap of ashes after East Tennesseans burned it to the ground in the Civil War. Their program cheats and has done so since Bear Bryant was playing. Their fans are gap-toothed losers who still call the Bryant Museum and Archives requesting Forrest Gump's career stats.

They are the total package of ignorant. No focused educational outreach effort can save them.

I am an Alabama fan and I've never considered myself to be scum of the earth, but I'm sure a few others have. The first college football game that I ever attended was Bear Bryant's last game and I've been there ever since. I went to school at Ole Miss for a while, once skipped homecoming to watch AL play on TV (try explaining that to your date!). I swore that I would never root for TN in any sport but when KY basketball hired Satan for head coach, I started watching Bruce Pearl's Vol teams and fell in love with what those teams were in the first few years. When they had to fire him, I thought I might move on too, but then they hired Cuonzo, who was another of my favorite coaches, so I decided to stick with the Vols. I always root for SEC teams when they play other conferences and in bowl games (I do find it hard to root for Florida, but sometimes I bite the bullet). When the Vols fired Kiffin, I found myself watching with interest and when the Vols hired Dooley, I found myself rooting for him to make good. SEC pedigree, nice guy, seemed to want to do the right things, struggling program trying to right itself. The same with Miss. State when they hired Sylvester Groom. I wanted him to make good, not because he was black, but because I thought he was a great football coach who did things the right way. I have been a gypsy for most of my life, now settled down in TN and I love SEC sports. Baseball, Football, Basketball (Men's and Women's). I don't ever run down another school's fans. I admire those of you who "bleed Orange", I have that kind of loyalty to the Cardinals in baseball, but it is possible to be a fan of the conference. Frankly, the SEC is just like watching the best soap opera of all time combined with a train wreck. I hope TN makes a great hire for the new head coach and returns to football greatness. As Reggie Jackson once said, "They don't boo nobodies".

I saw an article about Alabama wanting to secede from the US.

If it ever happened it would be the dumbest country in the world.

It would make Somalia look like an intellectual mecca. Problem is, tons of our tax dollars would go to them because they would be a worthless Third World country.

My hate for bama is on the same level as my love of the Vols.

Anybody that has had to live in that state for even a small amount of time as a UT fan would agree with me.

I root for Tennessee & anybody who plays bama. Period.

That article is coming from the same people that will retire their Alabama T shirt and buy A&M T shirts. Most bandwagon fans in the country, a bunch of opossums living on a dead "Bear". I cheer for the Vols because I went to UT. They cheer for Alabama because they went to Walmart.

Not ALL Bama fans are complete morons, but your bell curve has had the crap kicked out of it to the extreme.
