Bammers are blaming the refs

I noticed them when the game was live. They showed them for about 2 seconds and I thought "what the hell was that?"

The whole "booth is reviewing the play" to me is horse s--t. Give a coach 2 challenges a game and look at every play in the last 2 minutes of each half.
It would suit me to either do this or do away with "challenges" altogether and have the booth review every single play. The way they do it now gives the refs too much influence.

Question: we've had a couple of instances where a quicker snap would have defeated any chance of review. Why aren't we taking advantage of those opportunities? I think the sideline catch (Smith's?) that was overturned is an example.

I bet the ref's ears were burning cause I was cussing them all night, that is the worst officiating I've seen all season. I was begining to think that they forgot to bring their little yellow hankies, and the waved off PI was the worst.

Oh, god I remember that...

I will never step foot into that state after seeing that.

If those are the cheerleaders...

it was the absolute worst called game by refs I have ever seen..they missed to PI on consecutive plays, just to name a couple of bad calls..Ball placement was also bad..The sec has horrible refs all around.

Ya those were flag girls, and I am not blaming the refs. We got beat fair and square.

I really wonder if they do review every play. For instance, I'm assuming that Fullmer took that one time out just so they could have more time to review the play. I can't really remember the play exactly, but it seemed like it should have been a reviewable play. Maybe it was the spot of the ball on the one pass to the 30 yard line that we got jobbed on. Anyway, they must not have reviewed it because if they had, the ball would have probably been re-spotted. I guess I'm just wondering out loud if every play really is reviewed. It doesn't seem like it to me. Oh yea, the refs suck every game anyway. That picked up flag on the PI was the worst. Where is the explanation for that? Why do officials always get out of having to answer for their actions? Players have press conferences, why don't officials? They seem exempt of blame.

I watched the game on tv. It may have seem like Bama got 2 reviews. However, THe replay booth can review the play on their own discretion without Bama forced to burn a timeout. Sam with the Georgia game.

The replay booth will review any close call without having the team to burn a timeout. Bad rule and not very organized who gets charged a timeout or not.

Those aren't the cheerleaders, they are the flag girls for the band. Notice the flags behind them and notice the time before halftime..

Are you sure? They kind of look like offensive line.
