Just picked up the wife a SW MP 380 EZ. Found ammo for it online saturday while going thru the purchase process. Ammoshoponline and Midwayusa. Got 2 boxes of NovX Engagement Extreme Self defense rounds. Real curious to shoot these. Hybrid bullet material and patent pending fluted design. Got some Norma FMJ's from the other site. Now, one local outdoor store has a few boxes of premium FMJ's instock and will pick up at lunch. Looking forward to getting some rounds in it. Reviews are very positive on this pistol. Got the newer model that the recall had been corrected on. I'm glad i ordered when I did. Both sites are sold out of 380 now. But, wow. the price of a box of 380 FMJ. Are 9's and 45's this bad. 4 boxes of ammo half the price of the gun. Got hte EZ for $400. might could have acquired cheaper under normal conditions, but not too bad. First choice we went to Academy for was a Bersa Thunder. By the time we got there it was sold and this was left. The SW probably better anyway. She liked it in her hand very well, and it's not an unshootable micro.

It was the only 45 I could find for awhile. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on some other that I found. Reman brass

i stoped by academy this morning.
You could tell it was ammo day

Booked an appointment at the range - they will hold a box (50 rounds) of 38 special for me. That's the way they're selling the ammo they have in stock - book range time, get ammo. I'm going to take the missus and teach her to shoot the SP100.

Anthony’s Armory on Dayton Blvd has a crap load of 223. At 18$ per 20. They also have 556 nato in bulk at 1 per while they last.
