Just sent this to my brother. He had one years ago when he first got into guns, I think it might have been the first gun he ever purchased himself. I hated it but he was as proud of that gun as any he had. Don't know if he still has it or not, but I asked him and waiting on his reply. This is the twin brother

Ask him if it jumped out of his hand too. That iron sight tried to take my lips with it! Seriously the most powerful handgun I’ve ever shot.Just sent this to my brother. You more than likely already know about them but just in case I’ll tell you about them anyway. Have you checked out the S&W EZ for your wife? They’re compact, easy racking slide, light weight and reasonable on price. I personally don’t like them only because of the back strap safety but other than that I’ve heard nothing but good things.Slice, other than helping my wife find a pistol with which she’s comfortable, I’m mulling over a rifle. The Ruger American 308 for lefties quality/price is attractive. If I want to spend up, the Ruger Scout for lefties is drool inducing.
My oldest is left handed also. It sucks finding good optionsSlice, other than helping my wife find a pistol with which she’s comfortable, I’m mulling over a rifle. The Ruger American 308 for lefties quality/price is attractive. If I want to spend up, the Ruger Scout for lefties is drool inducing.
It’s really not that bad. As long as you don’t make the mistake I did. I underestimated it. Dont ask me how I underestimated such a powerful pistol but I gripped the fore end like a rifle and held it looser than I should’ve. I didn’t want no more of that that day but I’ll shoot it again and I’ll know more of what to expect and how to prevent it from happening again. My best friend shot it several times that day without complication. If you ever get the opportunity, you should try it out. Just remember to hold on! LolI guess I could strap it to a vise and shoot it.

Odd question on a gun thread. I trained him from age 6-13. From 13 and up I took more of a halftime “consultant” role out of respect of his coaches to avoid any clashing that may be seen as disrespectful or opposing. If I see a problem, I tell him how to fix it when/if he asks for help. How do you know Maurer?
