Barkley announced starter at USC

Well, droski, does this surprise you? I seem to recall you saying Barkley sucked or something along those lines...

Hard to argue with it based on his performance. Corp kinda got a raw deal, but that's what you get when you play for USC. When talent is so deep, you can't afford to get hurt.

Barkley was just announced as the starting QB at USC. Scroggins might want to rethink his commitment.

not that he sucked, just that no true freshman qb will be more than mediocre. particurally not one that threw more ints than tds as a senior in HS. and particurally not one who was throwing ints left and right in practice.


a couple of thoughts

a) mitch mustain really sucks

b) corp is injured more than has been let on

people forget that corp was a stud in his own right coming out of hs. of course his speed was what people fell in love with and currently he has a brace on his right leg. that might explain this decision.

either way i'd be shocked to see barkley start against OSU or Cal.

Matt was just named the starter for USC. Scroggins really needs to come to UT for some playing time.

Barkley starting actually helps Scroggins because it improves Barkley's chances of going pro after 2011 instead of 2012 or 2013.
