I’m truly shocked you would say this. Now that it is concluded I am troubled by two things. One, he gave mealy mouthed answers on the report and releasing it. Two, he will not abide by the ethics advisors on the paper he wrote.
Red flags.
Cannot be allowed to take office.
I’m truly shocked you would say this.
I also point to his previous three unanimous appointment votes as proof you are FOS as usual.
Get ready for disappointment again. And I’ll bet this one even gets some Dim votes.I said earlier, before it began, that if he was going to allow us to see the report and not interfere, fine with me.
But he ill not commit to that. And when he puts out a memo and seems to defend Trump's absolute power, its just too much. Disqualified.

And your statement is incorrect. I saw his first answer on the topic live on TV. He absolutely wants to make the report as transparent as possible. You idiots are trying to pin him down on “what if’s” that are impossible for him to answer with the information he has at the moment and he thus won’t give you the sound bite you want. And he’s right.
Barr is being hailed as the most qualified appointment to the position in decades and has garnered public support from some rational Dims even.
U Lose Again!!!!!!!
Personally, I take it as a sign of weakness when you don't defend what he's saying on the merits and instead just beat your chest about how this is going to get steamrolled through, merit or no.
Very Trumpian of you.
*yawn* completely ignored the statement on him being hailed as the most qualified candidate to the position in decades and recieving accolades from both sides of the aisle thus resulting in him skating thru the appointment process.Personally, I take it as a sign of weakness when you don't defend what he's saying on the merits and instead just beat your chest about how this is going to get steamrolled through, merit or no.

If he sticks to his word that:
1) Mueller should be allowed to finish;
2) The Congress and the public should see the report; and,
3) He will not allow political pressure from Trump to influence any of that
I'm good. If he is confirmed and there is even a whiff of departure from that, he will have to be gone in 60 seconds.
You will be screeching about him within a day of his confirmation regardless of what he does.

Hogg called it! And we all saw it coming anyway.
I read just fine. Like when I read your posts and see you yugely and bigly conflating his answers. You’ve got to be referencing the interrogation by the idiot Hirono. His answers were fine. You’re also conflating his answer on the ethics office professionals. He was exactly correct in his answer. He will indeed seek the counsel of the ethics office but any decision is his and his alone. Period. You idiots are trying to get him to verbally handcuff himself before even taking the oath of office. No bueno. Can you read or are you just intentionally pretending not to be able to do so?
I said I was okay with him if we and Congress get to see the report. He has made some comments, including in opening remarks, about that, but when pressed, he kept himming and hawing about it, refusing to commit to it.

He owes them a pinky promise that he will do whatever he’s told to do... even though he’s the boss that should be giving direction. Ridiculous. He said he would follow procedure and the law in regards to releasing the report to congress and the public. What else is he supposed to do, violate one or both?
Looks like talking points coming out spouting the trash LG did, WaPo was carrying that water pail this morning.
But there’s also the counter story pointing out their talking points are FOS
5 myths about William Barr
By that standard you have to agree that Mueller was the perfect man to lead the investigation and has done a bang up job of doing so.*yawn* completely ignored the statement on him being hailed as the most qualified candidate to the position in decades and recieving accolades from both sides of the aisle thus resulting in him skating thru the appointment process.
Sometimes an obviously qualified candidate is just that... regardless of who appointed him.
