does anyone subscribe to Ben Mckee and 274sports? I have too many subsections as there is however if Ben's articles are good, I might consider.............

I think they give you a few free reads and you can rotate devices to access them. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I think the articles are fine, but not essential/amazing. Once the season starts, will probably be things we already know.

On last night's D1 Baseball podcast, Mike Rooney picked both Arkansas and Tennessee to be "awesome" with 50 wins each.

He also believes the Vols and Hogs have filled in some gaps from last season.

I have to say, I don't see this season's Vols staff getting off to the brutally bad season start that they had in 2023. Their individual ceilings may not be judged as high but I don't see we will see a Missouri-type weekend we had in 2023. Chase Burns and Dollander were having some real head issues early on. I don't think Burns will admit it anytime soon, but his success late in season was due to the decisions made by Frank and Tony when he was sent to pen. Unfortunately, Wake will reap the benefits of those actions in 2024 as Burns obviously got his feelings hurt.

I hate that he's gone but a change of scenery and a different coach might have been just what he needed. There's no ceiling to his talent.

I'm not exactly sure he was listening to coaching much. Especially early on when he was struggling and not likely making the adjustments that were recommended. It may explain when he was sent to pen and Dollander continued to start as Dolly was at least listening.

Interesting. If that's the case, I think it's best for everyone that he moved on.
